To ensure you have all the information you need and a pleasant experience while planning your wedding, I've compiled a list of answers to the most commonly asked questions from future brides.

How soon before my wedding should I organize my wedding flowers?

As soon as you like but preferably after you have chosen your bridal gown, bridesmaids' dresses and decided on a colour theme. I recommend leaving it no later than 6 weeks before the wedding date.

What flowers do I need to get?

It is common practice for the bridal party to have flowers. The bride carries a bouquet and so does her bridesmaids or alternatively the bridesmaids wear wrist corsages or floral hair decorations. The groom and groomsmen wear buttonholes. Flower Girls usually carry a posy, basket, pomander, garland or wand. It is also customary for the mothers of the bride and groom to wear shoulder corsages and the fathers to wear buttonholes. Sometimes other family members and guests are catered for. You may also opt to have your ceremony & reception venue decorated with flowers. It is all a matter of personal choice whether you want to have just some or all of the above-mentioned items.

What type of bouquet should I have?

It largely depends on what you like however the style, size and colour of your bouquet are best selected to compliment the style and colour of your wedding dress. For example, an elegant line bouquet is a good choice for a slim fitting gown while a round bouquet would suit a fuller gown.

How do I place an order?

For customised orders, please submit your details on the "Contact Me" page and I will get back to you to discuss the details of your order whether it be for items you've viewed in my gallery or from another source and I will direct you on how to proceed.  All designs shown on my website can be changed to suit your own personal style and colour scheme.

Do I need to bring anything with me to a consultation?

Ideas!  Do you have a favourite flower?  Have you considered what style bridal bouquet you want? Browse the internet and wedding journals if you have time. You might like to bring along or send a photo from a book or magazine of some floral designs that you like. If possible, it helps if you can provide fabric samples from your bridal gown and bridesmaids' dresses. Alternatively, photos of the dresses or something in the same colour eg. ribbon.

When will I have to pay for my wedding flowers?

A deposit of 50% of the total value of your customised order is required at the time of booking. Balance of payment is due either upon or before delivery/collection of your flowers. Orders sent with Australia Post must be paid for prior to dispatch. I accept payment by cash, Paypal or direct deposit via internet banking.

When and how will I receive my flowers?

Provided all of the materials needed to create your designs are "In Stock," your order should be ready within 14 business days.  If needed, please allow additional time for shipping.

Everything I make is packaged in boxes to prevent damage during transit.  Being environmentally conscious, I prefer to use recycled boxes wherever possible.

Delivery is free of charge to all suburbs in the Swan Valley, Western Australia otherwise items can be sent to anywhere in Australia with Australia Post. Shipping costs apply based on weight and will be calculated on completion of your order and added to your final balance. I'll endeavor to give you an estimate in your initial quote.

Alternatively, you are welcome to arrange to pick up your flowers from me at no cost.

Can I change or return my order for a refund?

All custom designs are cut and assembled especially for you and as such cannot be returned for a refund but I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase so am happy to make small adjustments to your pieces once completed.  Please note that any variations outside of what was agreed upon in the quote (adding or changing flowers, restyling a bouquet, changing colours or ribbon), will incur additional charges.  Sorry, I'm unable to offer a refund for a cancelled wedding as this falls under the "change of mind" category.

In the unlikely event that any of your items are delivered damaged, they can be returned for repair or a replacement within 10 days of receipt. Returned items must be shipped in original packing boxes or similar quality.  Please return to:
